About Me

Eliza was born in the quad cities on the Illinois side on a family farm. She lived there for a few years, then moved to Denver, back to Illinois, then to Hollywood, then to Illinois, back to California, then to Germany, and then back to Illinois. After working every part time retail job in America, Eliza decided to do something she naturally picked up doing when she was 16-- hair.

She started doing hair the day she stopped a hair dresser mid-cut because the haircut she was getting wasn't to her liking. She stood up, got in the car, bought a cheap pair of shears, and finished the cut on her own. She then cut for friends frequently and always loved it but didn't feel like it was a career option. After a stream of awful jobs and a move back home at 22 years old, she went back to school. It took her a year and a half to finish the 2100 hours of cosmotology school in Davenport, Iowa. Almost 5 months from graduation, she knew she wanted to take her talents on the road and use her tools in the music industry.

It was 4 months from graduation that she was fully sponsored to join the Vans Warped tour. Her goal was to not only work for the musicians, but also the fans. This still holds true to this day. She has continued to work for the music industry while doing what she was born to do: hair.

She is currently freelancing and would love to one day, work in a salon when things quiet down. When asked what a goal or plan might be for the future, Eliza's answer is, "I want to continue to set the standard for myself and break the rules for my industry by pulling inspiration from other places. In my lifetime, I have seen a few haircuts take the world by storm... I would love to be the next to have a cut that is literally on the head of everyone."
